Hailing from Orlando, Florida, Cat Ridgeway is a skilled songwriter who can write in any genre. Cat’s eclectic, yet always soulful style shines through her ability to play guitar and harmonica (at the same time!), trumpet, trombone, drums, piano, and bass. Her project "Passenger Seat" was the direct result of her overfunded Kickstarter campaign "Cat Goes to Nashville". She had the privilege of working with the likes of Gordon Kennedy (co-writer of "Change the World" recorded by Eric Clapton) and many other seasoned Nashville players on the EP. Cat's most recent single "Whiskey Lullabies" was recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis, TN and released in September of 2017.
Although it ultimately didn't make the final cut, Cat's debutalbum "On a Windy Day" features the title track originally written for the major motion picture, “Bernie” starring Jack Black, Shirley MacLaine and Matthew McConaughey. Cat has lent her voice to many notable causes including Tunes for Tots, Make A Wish Foundation, and Hospice of the Comforter. She is also highly sought after by advertising agencies to sing radio jingles and commercials.
Her most recent achievements have been winning indie rock duo Tegan and Sara’s world wide cover contest and playing the main stage at Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival 2018.
